Ocean freight rate increases and delays

 

Despite continued delays at the ports of LA and Long Beach and congestion spreading to other ports, there are indications that Asia-US ocean demand is easing, at least a little.

Asia-US West Coast rates were unchanged this week and are 16% lower than their mid-September peak.
